Frequently Asked Questions
Who can come to MOPS/Moms Next? MOPs/Moms Next is for all mothers with children ages newborn - high school! Will there be childcare? Yes! Childcare is provided through our MOPS Kids program. MOPS Kids is run by trained volunteers and provides activities, music time, outdoor playtime (weather permitting), and faith-focused fun! Children younger than 6 months are welcome to stay with their mothers during the meeting. My child(ren) go to daycare or school on Wednesday mornings. Can I attend without them? Absolutely! Bringing your child(ren) to meetings is not required for membership. If your child(ren) will not need childcare, please let us know. I've heard MOPS/Moms Next is faith based. Do I need to know a lot about the Bible or be a Christian to attend? MOPS is a faith based organization, but you do not need to have any Biblical knowledge to attend. We welcome mamas from all walks of faith and backgrounds! We often begin our meetings with a short devotion and prayer. Devotions pertain to motherhood, and are designed to benefit all of our moms no matter their beliefs or knowledge level. How is information communicated about meeting dates/topics, special events, etc.? After you register, you'll be added to the Rogers MN MOPS Facebook group, where details about all things MOPS are posted. We also send out texts with reminders about upcoming meetings and events. |
